The Watches TV at Akrivia in Geneva
In an enthralling French accent, 32-year-old Rexhepi explains how he and his crew work on their masterpieces; no shock, one watchmaker cares for the creation of every watch from A to Z.
One scene actually caught my curiosity: the sight of the artisans hand-hammering the motion surfaces to get the gorgeous grainy end that Akrivia timepieces are particularly recognized for.
This video transmits the fervour with which Rexhepi and his crew create their oeuvres. Having visited the workshop myself, I’m happy that this video permits others to know the quantity of labor by hand Akrivia must craft its masterpieces.
Additionally included is a tour of the case workshop of Jean-Pierre Hagmann, which Akrivia took over in September 2019.
Rexhepi impresses along with his ardour, sane concepts, and humble ideas for the longer term. It’s value watching these 17 minutes of fantastic footage simply to get inside his mind. However the pictures of the gorgeous Akrivia watches isn’t too shabby both.
